நம்முடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நம்மைக் கைவிடாமலும், நம்மை நெகிழவிடாமலும், அவர் நம்முடைய பிதாக்களோடு இருந்ததுபோல, நம்மோடும் இருந்து,
The LORD our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us:

நாம் அவருடைய வழிகளில் எல்லாரும் நடக்கிறதற்கும், அவர் நம்முடைய பிதாக்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட அவருடைய கற்பனைகளையும், அவருடைய கட்டளைகளையும், அவருடைய நியாயங்களையும் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறதற்கும், நம்முடைய இருதயத்தைத் தம்மிடத்தில் சாயப்பண்ணுவாராக.
That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.
உபாகமம் 31:6
நீங்கள் பலங்கொண்டு திடமனதாயிருங்கள், அவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவும் திகைக்கவும் வேண்டாம்; உன் தேவனாகிய, கர்த்தர்தாமே உன்னோடேகூட வருகிறார்; அவர் உன்னை விட்டு விலகுவதும் இல்லை; உன்னைக் கைவிடுவதும் இல்லை என்று சொன்னான்.
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.
உபாகமம் 31:7
பின்பு மோசே யோசுவாவை அழைத்து, இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் பார்த்திருக்க, அவனை நோக்கி பலங்கொண்டு திடமனதாயிரு; கர்த்தர் இவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று இவர்களுடைய பிதாக்களுக்கு ஆணையிட்ட தேசத்துக்கு நீ இந்த ஜனத்தை அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அதை இவர்கள் சுதந்தரிக்கும்படிசெய்வாய்.
And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for you must go with this people unto the land which the LORD has sworn unto their fathers to give them; and you shall cause them to inherit it.
உபாகமம் 31:8
கர்த்தர்தாமே உனக்கு முன்பாகப் போகிறவர், அவர் உன்னோடே இருப்பார்; அவர் உன்னை விட்டு விலகுவதுமில்லை, உன்னைக் கைவிடுவதுமில்லை; நீ பயப்படவும் கலங்கவும் வேண்டாம் என்றான்.
And the LORD, he it is that does go before you; he will be with you, he will not fail you, neither forsake you: fear not, neither be dismayed.
யாத்திராகமம் 13:21
அவர்கள் இரவும் பகலும் வழிநடக்கக்கூடும்படிக்கு, கர்த்தர் பகலில் அவர்களை வழிநடத்த மேகஸ்தம்பத்திலும், இரவில் அவர்களுக்கு வெளிச்சங்காட்ட அக்கினிஸ்தம்பத்திலும் அவர்களுக்கு முன் சென்றார்.
And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:
யாத்திராகமம் 13:22
பகலிலே மேகஸ்தம்பமும், இரவிலே அக்கினிஸ்தம்பமும் ஜனங்களிடத்திலிருந்து விலகிப்போகவில்லை.
He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.
யோசுவா 1:5
நீ உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் ஒருவனும் உனக்கு முன்பாக எதிர்த்து நிற்பதில்லை: நான் மோசேயோடே இருந்ததுபோல, உன்னோடும் இருப்பேன்; நான் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகுவதுமில்லை, உன்னைக் கைவிடுவதுமில்லை.
There shall not any man be able to stand before you all the days of your life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with you: I will not fail you, nor forsake you.
சங்கீதம் 119:36
என் இருதயம் பொருளாசையைச் சாராமல், உமது சாட்சிகளைச் சாரும்படி செய்யும்.
Incline my heart unto your testimonies, and not to covetousness.

பண ஆசை எல்லாத் தீமைக்கும் வேராயிருக்கிறது; சிலர் அதை இச்சித்து, விசுவாசத்தைவிட்டு வழுவி, தங்களை உருவக் குத்திக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
உபாகமம் 31:9
மோசே இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை எழுதி, அதைக் கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைச் சுமக்கிற லேவிபுத்திரரான ஆசாரியருக்கும் இஸ்ரவேலுடைய மூப்பர் எல்லாருக்கும் ஒப்புவித்து,
And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.
உபாகமம் 31:10
அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டது என்னவென்றால்: விடுதலையின் வருஷமாகிய ஒவ்வொரு ஏழாம் வருஷத்தின்முடிவிலே கூடாரப்பண்டிகையில்,
And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,
உபாகமம் 31:11
உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் தெரிந்துகொள்ளும் ஸ்தானத்தில், இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் அவருடைய சந்நிதியில் சேர்ந்துவந்திருக்கும்போது, இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தை இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும்கேட்க அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக வாசிக்கக்கடவாய்.
When all Israel has come to appear before the LORD your God in the place which he shall choose, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
உபாகமம் 31:12
புருஷர்களும் ஸ்திரீகளும் பிள்ளைகளும் உன் வாசல்களிலிருக்கும் அந்நியர்களும் கேட்டு, கற்றுக்கொண்டு, உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்து, இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாண வார்த்தைகளின்படி யெல்லாம் செய்யக் கவனமாயிருக்கும்படிக்கும்,
Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and your stranger that is within your gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
உபாகமம் 31:13
அதை அறியாத அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகளும் கேட்டு, நீங்கள் யோர்தானைக் கடந்து சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிற தேசத்தில் உயிரோடிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம், உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளும்படிக்கும் ஜனத்தைக்கூட்டி, அதை வாசிக்கவேண்டும் என்றான்.
And that their children, which have not known any thing, may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as all of you live in the land where all of you go over Jordan to possess it.
உபாகமம் 17:18
அவன் தன் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கும்போது, அவனுடைய இருதயம் அவன் சகோதரர்பேரில் மேட்டிமை கொள்ளாமலும், கற்பனையைவிட்டு வலதுபுறம் இடதுபுறம் சாயாமலும்,
And it shall be, when he sits upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites:
உபாகமம் 17:19
இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாணத்தின் எல்லா வார்த்தைகளையும், இந்தக் கட்டளைகளையும் கைக்கொண்டு, இவைகளின் படி செய்வதற்காகத் தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குப் பயந்திருக்கும்படி கற்றுக்கொள்ளும்பொருட்டு,
And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
உபாகமம் 17:20
அவன் லேவியராகிய ஆசாரியரிடத்திலிருக்கிற நியாயப்பிரமாண நூலைப் பார்த்து, தனக்காக ஒரு பிரதியை எழுதி, தன்னிடத்தில் வைத்துக்கொண்டு, தன் ஜீவனுள்ள நாளெல்லாம் அதை வாசிக்கக்கடவன்; இப்படிச் செய்வதினால், தானும் தன் குமாரரும் இஸ்ரவேலின் நடுவே தங்கள் ராஜ்யத்திலே நீடித்து வாழுவார்கள்.
That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.

ராஜா நியாயப்பிரமாண புஸ்தகத்தின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டபோது, தன் வஸ்திரங்களைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு,
And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.

ஆசாரியனாகிய இல்க்கியாவுக்கும், சாப்பானின் குமாரனாகிய அகீக்காமுக்கும், மிகாயாவின் குமாரனாகிய அக்போருக்கும், சம்பிரதியாகிய சாப்பானுக்கும், ராஜாவின் ஊழியக்காரனாகிய அசாயாவுக்கும் ராஜா கட்டளையிட்டது:
And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king’s, saying,

கண்டெடுக்கப்பட்ட இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தின் வார்த்தைகளினிமித்தம் நீங்கள் போய், எனக்காகவும் ஜனத்திற்காகவும் யூதாவனைத்திற்காகவும் கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரியுங்கள்; நமக்காக எழுதியிருக்கிற எல்லாவற்றின்படியேயும் செய்ய நம்முடைய பிதாக்கள் இந்தப் புஸ்தகத்தின் வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடாதபடியினால், நம்மேல் பற்றியெரிந்த கர்த்தருடைய உக்கிரம் பெரியது என்றான்.
Go all of you, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.
