நீதிமொழிகள் 20:9
என் இருதயத்தைச் சுத்தமாக்கினேன், என் பாவமறத் துப்புரவானேன் என்று சொல்லத்தக்கவன் யார்?
Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
ரோமர் 6:17

And such were some of you: but all of you are washed, but all of you are sanctified, but all of you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

ஆவியானவர் தேவனுடைய சித்தத்தின்படியே பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்கிறபடியால், இருதயங்களை ஆராய்ந்துபார்க்கிறவர் ஆவியின் சிந்தனை இன்னதென்று அறிவார்.
And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Now all of you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
