1 பேதுரு 5:8
தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாயிருங்கள், விழித்திருங்கள்; ஏனெனில், உங்கள் எதிராளியாகிய பிசாசானவன் கெர்ச்சிக்கிற சிங்கம்போல் எவனை விழுங்கலாமோ என்று வகைதேடிச் சுற்றித்திரிகிறான்.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:
யோவான் 10:10
திருடன் திருடவும் கொல்லவும் அழிக்கவும் வருகிறானேயன்றி வேறொன்றுக்கும் வரான். நானோ அவைகளுக்கு ஜீவன் உண்டாயிருக்கவும், அது பரிபூரணப்படவும் வந்தேன்.
The thief comes not, but in order to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
மத்தேயு 4:1
அப்பொழுது இயேசு பிசாசினால் சோதிக்கப்படுவதற்கு ஆவியானவராலே வனாந்தரத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோகப்பட்டார்.
Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
மத்தேயு 4:2
அவர் இரவும் பகலும் நாற்பது நாள் உபவாசமாயிருந்தபின்பு, அவருக்குப் பசியுண்டாயிற்று.
And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered.
மத்தேயு 4:3
அப்பொழுது சோதனைக்காரன் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: நீர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனேயானால், இந்தக் கல்லுகள் அப்பங்களாகும்படி சொல்லும் என்றான்.
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If you be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
மத்தேயு 4:4
அவர் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: மனுஷன் அப்பத்தினாலேமாத்திரமல்ல, தேவனுடைய வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிற ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தையினாலும் பிழைப்பான் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறதே என்றார்.
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
மத்தேயு 4:5
அப்பொழுது பிசாசு அவரைப் பரிசுத்த நகரத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோய், தேவாலயத்து உப்பரிகையின் மேல் அவரை நிறுத்தி:
Then the devil takes him up into the holy city, and sets him on a pinnacle of the temple,
மத்தேயு 4:6
நீர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனேயானால் தாழக்குதியும்; ஏனெனில், தம்முடைய தூதர்களுக்கு உம்மைக்குறித்துக் கட்டளையிடுவார்; உமது பாதம் கல்லில் இடறாதபடிக்கு, அவர்கள் உம்மைக் கைகளில் ஏந்திக்கொண்டு போவார்கள் என்பதாய் எழுதியிருக்கிறது என்று சொன்னான்.
And says unto him, If you be the Son of God, cast yourself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning you: and in their hands they shall bear you up, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone.
மத்தேயு 4:7
அதற்கு இயேசு: உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைப் பரீட்சை பாராதிருப்பாயாக என்றும் எழுதியிருக்கிறதே என்றார்.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, You shall not tempt the Lord your God.
மத்தேயு 4:8
மறுபடியும் பிசாசு அவரை மிகவும் உயர்ந்த மலையின்மேல் கொண்டுபோய், உலகத்தின் சகல ராஜ்யங்களையும் அவைகளின் மகிமையையும் அவருக்குக் காண்பித்து:
Again, the devil takes him up into an exceeding high mountain, and shows him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
மத்தேயு 4:9
நீர் சாஷ்டாங்கமாய் விழுந்து, என்னைப் பணிந்துகொண்டால், இவைகளையெல்லாம் உமக்குத் தருவேன் என்று சொன்னான்.
And says unto him, All these things will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me.
மத்தேயு 4:10
அப்பொழுது இயேசு: அப்பாலே போ சாத்தானே; உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு அவர் ஒருவருக்கே ஆராதனை செய்வாயாக என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறதே என்றார்.
Then says Jesus unto him, Get you behind, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.
2 தீமோத்தேயு 4:3
சத்தியத்துக்குச் செவியை விலக்கி, கட்டுக்கதைகளுக்குச் சாய்ந்துபோகுங்காலம் வரும்.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2 தீமோத்தேயு 4:4
நீயோ எல்லாவற்றிலும் மனத்தெளிவுள்ளவனாயிரு, தீங்கநுபவி, சுவிசேஷகனுடைய வேலையைச் செய், உன் ஊழியத்தை நிறைவேற்று.
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 தீமோத்தேயு 4:5
ஏனென்றால், நான் இப்பொழுதே பானபலியாக வார்க்கப்பட்டுப்போகிறேன்; நான் தேகத்தை விட்டுப் பிரியும்காலம் வந்தது.
But watch you in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry.
2 பேதுரு 1:2
தேவனையும் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவையும் அறிகிற அறிவினால் உங்களுக்குக் கிருபையும் சமாதானமும் பெருகக்கடவது.
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

தேவனையும் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவையும் அறிகிற அறிவினால் உங்களுக்குக் கிருபையும் சமாதானமும் பெருகக்கடவது.
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
மத்தேயு 12:43
அசுத்த ஆவி ஒரு மனுஷனை விட்டுப் புறப்படும்போது, வறண்ட இடங்களில் அலைந்து, இளைப்பாறுதல் தேடியும் கண்டடையாமல்:
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.
மத்தேயு 12:44
நான் விட்டு வந்த வீட்டுக்குத் திரும்பிப் போவேன் என்று சொல்லி; அங்கே வந்து, அந்த வீடு வெறுமையாகவும், பெருக்கி, ஜோடிக்கப்பட்டதாகவும் இருக்கக்கண்டு,
Then he says, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he has come, he finds it empty, swept, and garnished.
மத்தேயு 12:45
திரும்பிப்போய், தன்னிலும் பொல்லாத வேறு ஏழு ஆவிகளைத் தன்னோடே கூட்டிக்கொண்டுவந்து, உட்புகுந்து அங்கே குடியிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது, அந்த மனுஷனுடைய முன்னிலைமையிலும் அவன் பின்னிலைமை அதிக கேடுள்ளதாயிருக்கும்; அப்படியே இந்தப் பொல்லாத சந்ததியாருக்கும் சம்பவிக்கும் என்றார்.
Then goes he, and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
