மத்தேயு 22:36
போதகரே, நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திலே எந்தக் கற்பனை பிரதானமானது என்று கேட்டான்.
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
மத்தேயு 22:37
இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி: உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரிடத்தில் உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும், உன் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் உன் முழு மனதோடும் அன்புகூருவாயாக;
Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

இது முதலாம் பிரதான கற்பனை.
This is the first and great commandment.
மத்தேயு 22:39
இதற்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிற இரண்டாம் கற்பனை என்னவென்றால், உன்னிடத்தில் நீ அன்புகூருவதுபோலப் பிறனிடத்திலும் அன்புகூருவாயாக என்பதே.
And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.
மத்தேயு 22:40
இவ்விரண்டு கற்பனைகளிலும் நியாயப்பிரமாணம் முழுமையும் தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களும் அடங்கியிருக்கிறது என்றார்.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

அவரை அறிந்திருக்கிறேனென்று சொல்லியும், அவருடைய கற்பனைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளாதவன் பொய்யனாயிருக்கிறான், அவனுக்குள் சத்தியமில்லை.
He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

அவருடைய வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவனிடத்தில் தேவ அன்பு மெய்யாகப் பூரணப்பட்டிருக்கும்; நாம் அவருக்குள் இருக்கிறோமென்பதை அதினாலே அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்.
But whoso keeps his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

என் பிள்ளைகளே, வசனத்தினாலும், நாவினாலுமல்ல, கிரியையினாலும் உண்மையினாலும் அன்புகூரக்கடவோம்.
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

நீங்கள் உலகத்துக்கு வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; மலையின் மேல் இருக்கிற பட்டணம் மறைந்திருக்கமாட்டாது.
All of you are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பைவிட்டு நம்மைப் பிரிப்பவன் யார்? உபத்திரவமோ, வியாகுலமோ, துன்பமோ, பசியோ, நிர்வாணமோ, நாசமோசமோ, பட்டயமோ?
As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

இவையெல்லாவற்றிலேயும் நாம் நம்மில் அன்புகூருகிறவராலே முற்றும் ஜெயங்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களாயிருக்கிறோமே.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

மரணமானாலும், ஜீவனானாலும், தேவதூதர்களானாலும், அதிகாரங்களானாலும், வல்லமைகளானாலும், நிகழ்காரியங்களானாலும், வருங்காரியங்களானாலும்,
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
ரோமர் 8:39
உயர்வானாலும், தாழ்வானாலும், வேறெந்தச் சிருஷ்டியானாலும் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிலுள்ள தேவனுடைய அன்பைவிட்டு நம்மைப் பிரிக்கமாட்டாதென்று நிச்சயித்திருக்கிறேன்.
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
மத்தேயு 5:13
நீங்கள் பூமிக்கு உப்பாயிருக்கிறீர்கள்; உப்பானது சாரமற்றுப்போனால், எதினால் சாரமாக்கப்படும்? வெளியே கொட்டப்படுவதற்கும், மனுஷரால் மிதிக்கப்படுவதற்குமே ஒழிய வேறொன்றுக்கும் உதவாது.
All of you are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

நீங்கள் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்பாயிருங்கள்; நான் உங்களில் அன்பாயிருந்ததுபோல நீங்களும் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்பாயிருங்கள் என்கிற புதிதான கட்டளையை உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன்.
A new commandment I give unto you, That all of you love one another; as I have loved you, that all of you also love one another.

நீங்கள் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்புள்ளவர்களாயிருந்தால், அதினால் நீங்கள் என்னுடைய சீஷர்களென்று எல்லாரும் அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்றார்.
By this shall all men know that all of you are my disciples, if all of you have love one to another.

உங்கள் சத்துருக்களைச் சிநேகியுங்கள், நன்மைசெய்யுங்கள், கைம்மாறுகருதாமல் கடன் கொடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது உங்கள் பலன் மிகுதியாயிருக்கும், உன்னதமானவருக்கு நீங்கள் பிள்ளைகளாயிருப்பீர்கள், அவர் நன்றியறியாதவர்களுக்கும் துரோகிகளுக்கும் நன்மைசெய்கிறாரே,
But love all of you your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and all of you shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன், உங்கள் சத்துருக்களைச் சிநேகியுங்கள்; உங்களைச் சபிக்கிறவர்களை ஆசீர்வதியுங்கள்; உங்களைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களுக்கு நன்மை செய்யுங்கள்; உங்களை நிந்திக்கிறவர்களுக்காகவும் உங்களைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களுக்காகவும் ஜெபம் பண்ணுங்கள்.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
மத்தேயு 5:48
ஆகையால், பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற உங்கள் பிதா பூரண சற்குணராயிருக்கிறதுபோல, நீங்களும் பூரண சற்குணராயிருக்கக்கடவீர்கள்.
Be all of you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
