மத்தேயு 6:33
முதலாவது தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தையும் அவருடைய நீதியையும் தேடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குக் கூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.
But seek all of you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
மத்தேயு 16:26
மனுஷன் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயப்படுத்திக்கொண்டாலும், தன் ஜீவனை நஷ்டப்படுத்தினால் அவனுக்கு லாபம் என்ன? மனுஷன் தன் ஜீவனுக்கு ஈடாக என்னத்தைக் கொடுப்பான்?
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

உன் செய்கைகளைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புவி; அப்பொழுது உன் யோசனைகள் உறுதிப்படும்.
Commit your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts shall be established.

உன் சுயபுத்தியின்மேல் சாயாமல், உன் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் கர்த்தரில் நம்பிக்கையாயிருந்து,
Trust in the LORD with all yours heart; and lean not unto yours own understanding.

உன் வழிகளிலெல்லாம் அவரை நினைத்துக்கொள்; அப்பொழுது அவர் உன் பாதைகளைச் செவ்வைப்படுத்துவார்.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.
நீதிமொழிகள் 4:21
அவைகள் உன் கண்களை விட்டுப்பிரியாதிருப்பதாக; அவைகளை உன் இருதயத்துக்குள்ளே காத்துக்கொள்.
Let them not depart from yours eyes; keep them in the midst of yours heart.
யாத்திராகமம் 23:30
நீ விருத்தியடைந்து, தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்ளும்வரைக்கும், அவர்களைக் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாய் உன் முன்னின்று துரத்திவிடுவேன்.
By little and little I will drive them out from before you, until you be increased, and inherit the land.

நீ தேவனுக்கு ஒரு பொருத்தனைபண்ணிக்கொண்டால், அதைச் செலுத்தத் தாமதியாதே; அவர் மூடரில் பிரியப்படுகிறதில்லை, நீ நேர்ந்துகொண்டதைச்செய்.
When you vow a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools: pay that which you have vowed.
பிரசங்கி 4:9
ஒண்டியாயிருப்பதிலும் இருவர் கூடியிருப்பது நலம்; அவர்களுடைய பிரயாசத்தினால் அவர்களுக்கு நல்ல பலனுண்டாகும்.
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.

ஒருவன் விழுந்தால் அவன் உடனாளி அவனைத் தூக்கிவிடுவான்; ஒண்டியாயிருந்து விழுகிறவனுக்கு ஐயோ, அவனைத் தூக்கிவிடத் துணையில்லையே.
For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falls; for he has not another to help him up.
நீதிமொழிகள் 24:16
நீதிமான் ஏழுதரம் விழுந்தாலும் திரும்பவும் எழுந்திருப்பான்; துன்மார்க்கரோ தீங்கிலே இடறுண்டு கிடப்பார்கள்.
For a just man falls seven times, and rises up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
