கர்த்தர்மேல் உன் பாரத்தைவைத்துவிடு, அவர் உன்னை ஆதரிப்பார்; நீதிமானை ஒருபோதும் தள்ளாடவொட்டார்.
Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.

ஆகையால் தாவீது தன்னோடிருந்த அறுநூறுபேரோடுங்கூட எழுந்திருந்து, மாயோகின் குமாரனாகிய ஆகிஸ் என்னும் காத்தின் ராஜாவினிடத்தில் போய்ச் சேர்ந்தான்.
And David arose, and he passed over with the six hundred men that were with him unto Achish, the son of Maoch, king of Gath.
1 சாமுவேல் 27:3
அங்கே தாவீதும், அவன் மனுஷரும், அவரவர் வீட்டாரும், தாவீதோடேகூட அவன் இரண்டு மனைவிகளாகிய யெஸ்ரயேல் ஊராளாகிய அகினோவாமும், நாபாலின் மனைவியாயிருந்த கர்மேல் ஊராளாகிய அபிகாயிலும், காத்பட்டணத்தில் ஆகீசிடத்தில் தங்கியிருந்தார்கள்.
And David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess, Nabal’s wife.
1 சாமுவேல் 27:4
தாவீது காத்பட்டணத்திற்கு ஓடிப்போனான் என்று சவுலுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது, அவன் அப்புறம் அவனைத் தேடவில்லை.
And it was told Saul that David was fled to Gath: and he sought no more again for him.
1 சாமுவேல் 27:5
தாவீது ஆகீசை நோக்கி: உம்முடைய கண்களில் எனக்குத் தயைகிடைக்குமானால், நான் வாசம்பண்ணும்படி நாட்டிலுள்ள ஊர்களிலே ஒன்றில் எனக்கு இடந்தாரும்; உம்முடைய அடியான் உம்மோடேகூட ராஜதானி பட்டணத்திலே வாசமாயிருப்பானேன் என்றான்.
And David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in yours eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell there: for why should your servant dwell in the royal city with you?
1 சாமுவேல் 27:6
அப்பொழுது ஆகீஸ்: அன்றைய தினம் சிக்லாகை அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தான்; அதினிமித்தம் சிக்லாக் இந்நாள் வரைக்கும் யூதாவின் ராஜாக்களைச் சேர்ந்திருக்கிறது.
Then Achish gave him Ziklag that day: wherefore Ziklag pertains unto the kings of Judah unto this day.
1 சாமுவேல் 27:7
தாவீது பெலிஸ்தரின் நாட்டிலே ஒரு வருஷமும் நாலு மாதமும் குடியிருந்தான்.
And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines was a full year and four months.
1 சாமுவேல் 30:1
தாவீதும் அவன் மனுஷரும் மூன்றாம் நாளிலே, சிக்லாகுக்கு வந்து சேருகிறதற்குள்ளே, அமலேக்கியர் தெΩ்புறத்துச் சீமைίின்மேலும் சிக்லாகின் மேலும் விழுந்து, சிக்லாகைக் கொள்ளையடித்து, அதை அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரித்து,
And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;
1 சாமுவேல் 30:2
அதிலிருந்த ஸ்திரீகளாகிய சிறியவர்களையும் பெரியவர்களையும் சிறைபிடித்து, ஒருவரையும் கொன்றுபோடாமல், அவர்களைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, தங்கள் வழியே போய்விட்டார்கள்.
And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.

So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.
1 சாமுவேல் 30:4
அப்பொழுது தாவீதும் அவனோடிருந்த ஜனங்களும் அழுகிறதற்குத் தங்களில் பெலனில்லாமல் போகுமட்டும் சத்தமிட்டு அழுதார்கள்.
Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
2 சாமுவேல் 2:1
பின்பு தாவீது கர்த்தரை நோக்கி: நான் யூதாவின் பட்டணங்கள் ஒன்றிலே போய் இருக்கலாமா என்று விசாரித்தான், அதற்குக் கர்த்தர்: போ என்றார்; எவ்விடத்திற்குப் போகலாம் என்று தாவீது கேட்டதற்கு, அவர்: எப்ரோனுக்குப் போ என்றார்.
And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Where shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.
2 சாமுவேல் 2:3
அன்றியும் தன்னோடிருந்த மனுஷரையும் அவர்கள் குடும்பங்களையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோனான்; அவர்கள் எப்ரோனின் சுற்றூர்களிலே குடியேறினார்கள்.
And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
2 சாமுவேல் 2:4
அப்பொழுது யூதாவின் மனுஷர் வந்து, அங்கே தாவீதை யூதா வம்சத்தாரின்மேல் ராஜாவாக அபிஷேகம்பண்ணினார்கள். கீலேயாத்தேசத்து யாபேசின் மனுஷர் சவுலை அடக்கம்பண்ணினவர்கள் என்று அவர்கள் தாவீதுக்கு அறிவித்த போது,
And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul.
