சங்கீதம் 42:5
என் ஆத்துமாவே நீ ஏன் கலங்குகிறாய்? ஏன் எனக்குள் தியங்குகிறாய்? தேவனை நோக்கிக் காத்திரு; அவர் சமுகத்து இரட்சிப்பினிமித்தம் நான் இன்னும் அவரைத் துதிப்பேன்.
Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted in me? hope you in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
ஏசாயா 40:31
கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களோ புதுப்பெலனடைத்து, கழுகுகளைப்போலச் செட்டைகளை அடித்து எழும்புவார்கள்; அவர்கள் ஓடினாலும் இளைப்படையார்கள், நடந்தாலும் சோர்ந்துபோகார்கள்.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
நீதிமொழிகள் 20:22
தீமைக்குச் சரிக்கட்டுவேன் என்று சொல்லாதே; கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திரு, அவர் உன்னை இரட்சிப்பார்.
Say not you, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save you.
சங்கீதம் 107:28
அப்பொழுது தங்கள் ஆபத்திலே அவர்கள் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுகிறார்கள், அவர்கள் இக்கட்டுகளுக்கு அவர்களை நீங்கலாக்கி விடுவிக்கிறார்.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distresses.
சங்கீதம் 25:21
உத்தமமும் நேர்மையும் என்னைக்காக்கக்கடவது; நான் உமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறேன்.
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on you.
சங்கீதம் 25:22
தேவனே, இஸ்ரவேலை அவனுடைய எல்லா இக்கட்டுகளுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்டுவிடும்.
Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
