ஏசாயா 38:1
அந்நாட்களில் எசேக்கியா வியாதிப்பட்டு மரணத்துக்கு ஏதுவாயிருந்தான்; அப்பொழுது ஆமோத்சின் குமாரனாகிய ஏசாயா என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசி அவனிடத்தில் வந்து, அவனை நோக்கி: நீர் உமது வீட்டுக்காரியத்தை ஒழுங்குப்படுத்தும், நீர் பிழைக்கமாட்டீர் மரித்துப்போவீர் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான்.
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus says the LORD, Set yours house in order: for you shall die, and not live.
ஏசாயா 38:2
அப்பொழுது எசேக்கியா தன்முகத்தைச் சுவர்ப்புறமாகத் திருப்பிக்கொண்டு, கர்த்தரை நோக்கி:
Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,
ஏசாயா 38:3
ஆ கர்த்தாவே, நான் உமக்கு முன்பாக உண்மையும் மன உத்தமமுமாய் நடந்து, உமது பார்வைக்கு நலமானதச் செய்தேன் என்பதை நினைத்தருளும் என்று விண்ணப்பம்பண்ணி, எசேக்கியா மிகவும் அழுதான்.
And said, Remember now, O LORD, I plead to you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
ஏசாயா 38:4
அப்பொழுது ஏசாயாவுக்கு உண்டான கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையாவது:
Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,
ஏசாயா 38:5
நீ போய் எசேக்கியாவை நோக்கி: உன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதின் தேவனாயிருக்கிற கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால், உன் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டேன்; உன் கண்ணீரைக் கண்டேன்; இதோ, உன் நாட்களோடே பதினைந்து வருஷம் கூட்டுவேன்.
Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will add unto your days fifteen years.
நீதிமொழிகள் 20:6
மனுஷர் பெரும்பாலும் தங்கள் தயாளத்தைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துவார்கள்; உண்மையான மனுஷனைக் கண்டுபிடிப்பவன் யார்?
Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?
நீதிமொழிகள் 12:22
பொய் உதடுகள் கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானவைகள்; உண்மையாய் நடக்கிறவர்களோ அவருக்குப் பிரியம்.
Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
ஏசாயா 26:3
உம்மை உறுதியாய்ப் பற்றிக்கொண்ட மனதையுடையவன் உம்மையே நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், நீர் அவனைப் பூரண சமாதானத்துடன் காத்துக்கொள்வீர்.
You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.
நீதிமொழிகள் 28:18
உத்தமனாய் நடக்கிறவன் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்; மாறுபாடான இருவழியில் நடக்கிறவனோ அவற்றில் ஒன்றிலே விழுவான்.
Whoso walks uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.
நீதிமொழிகள் 28:20
உண்மையுள்ள மனுஷன் பரிபூரண ஆசீர்வாதங்களைப் பெறுவான்; ஐசுவரியவானாகிறதற்குத் தீவிரிக்கிறவனோ ஆக்கினைக்குத் தப்பான்.
A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that makes haste to be rich shall not be innocent.
நீதிமொழிகள் 11:27
நன்மையை ஜாக்கிரதையுடன் தேடுகிறவன் தயையைப் பெறுவான்; தீமையைத் தேடுகிறவனுக்கோ தீமையே வரும்.
He that diligently seeks good procures favour: but he that seeks mischief, it shall come unto him.
ஆதியாகமம் 17:1
ஆபிராம் தொண்ணூற்றொன்பது வயதானபோது, கர்த்தர் ஆபிராமுக்குத் தரிசனமாகி: நான் சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவன்; நீ எனக்கு முன்பாக நடந்துகொண்டு உத்தமனாயிரு.
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be you perfect.
ஆதியாகமம் 17:2
நான் உனக்கும் எனக்கும் நடுவாக என் உடன்படிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்தி, உன்னை மிகவும் திரளாய்ப் பெருகப்பண்ணுவேன் என்றார்.
And I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.
ஆதியாகமம் 17:3
அப்பொழுது ஆபிராம் முகங்குப்புற விழுந்து வணங்கினான். தேவன் அவனோடே பேசி:
And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
ஆதியாகமம் 17:4
நான் உன்னோடே பண்ணுகிற என் உடன்படிக்கை என்னவென்றால், நீ திரளான ஜாதிகளுக்குத் தகப்பனாவாய்.
As for me, behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.
எபேசியர் 4:22
அந்தப்படி, முந்தின நடக்கைக்குரிய மோசம்போக்கும் இச்சைகளாலே கெட்டுப்போகிற பழைய மனுஷனை நீங்கள் களைந்துபோட்டு,
That all of you put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
எபேசியர் 4:23
உங்கள் உள்ளத்திலே புதிதான ஆவியுள்ளவர்களாகி,
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
எபேசியர் 4:24
மெய்யான நீதியிலும் பரிசுத்தத்திலும் தேவனுடைய சாயலாக சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்ட புதிய மனுஷனைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
And that all of you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
எபேசியர் 4:25
அன்றியும், நாம் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் அவயவங்களாயிருக்கிறபடியால், பொய்யைக் களைந்து, அவனவன் பிறனுடனே மெய்யைப் பேசக்கடவன்.
Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
