ஆமோஸ் 8:11
இதோ, நான் தேசத்தின்மேல் பஞ்சத்தை அனுப்பும் நாட்கள் வரும்; ஆகாரக் குறைவினால் உண்டாகிய பஞ்சமல்ல, ஜலக்குறைவினால் உண்டாகிய தாகமுமல்ல, கர்த்தருடைய வசனம் கேட்கக் கிடையாத பஞ்சத்தை அனுப்புவேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.
Behold, the days come, says the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
ஆமோஸ் 8:12
அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் கர்த்தருடைய வசனத்தைத் தேட ஒரு சமுத்திரந்தொடங்கி மறு சமுத்திரமட்டும், வடதிசைதொடங்கிக் கீழ்த்திசைமட்டும் அலைந்து திரிந்தும் அதைக் கண்டடையாமற் போவார்கள்.
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run back and forth to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
மத்தேயு 24:35
வானமும் பூமியும் ஒழிந்துபோம், என் வார்த்தைகளோ ஒழிந்துபோவதில்லை.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

கர்த்தருடைய வேதத்தில் பிரியமாயிருந்து, இரவும் பகலும் அவருடைய வேதத்தில் தியானமாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.
சங்கீதம் 1:3
அவன் நீர்க்கால்களின் ஓரமாய் நடப்பட்டு, தன் காலத்தில் தன் கனியைத் தந்து, இலையுதிராதிருக்கிற மரத்தைப்போலிருப்பான்; அவன் செய்வதெல்லாம் வாய்க்கும்.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.

Your word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you.

வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 1:1
சீக்கிரத்தில் சம்பவிக்கவேண்டியவைகளைத் தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரருக்குக் காண்பிக்கும்பொருட்டு, தேவன் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஒப்புவித்ததும், இவர் தம்முடைய தூதனை அனுப்பி, தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய யோவானுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினதுமான விசேஷம்.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 1:2
இவன் தேவனுடைய வசனத்தைக்குறித்தும், இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவைப்பற்றிய சாட்சியைக்குறித்தும், தான் கண்ட யாவற்றையும் சாட்சியாக அறிவித்திருக்கிறான்.
Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
வெளிப்படுத்தின விசேஷம் 1:3
இந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசன வசனங்களை வாசிக்கிறவனும், கேட்கிறவர்களும், இதில் எழுதியிருக்கிறவைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களும் பாக்கியவான்கள், காலம் சமீபமாயிருக்கிறது.
Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
யோசுவா 1:8
இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாண புஸ்தகம் உன் வாயைவிட்டுப் பிரியாதிருப்பதாக; இதில் எழுதியிருக்கிறவைகளின்படியெல்லாம் நீ செய்யக் கவனமாயிருக்கும்படி, இரவும் பகலும் அதைத் தியானித்துக்கொண்டிருப்பாயாக; அப்பொழுது நீ உன் வழியை வாய்க்கப்பண்ணுவாய், அப்பொழுது புத்திமானாகவும் நடந்துகொள்ளுவாய்.
This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.

கர்த்தருடைய வேதத்தில் பிரியமாயிருந்து, இரவும் பகலும் அவருடைய வேதத்தில் தியானமாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்.

உமது கட்டளைகளைத் தியானித்து உமது வழிகளைக் கண்ணோக்குகிறேன்.
I will meditate in your precepts, and have respect unto your ways.

என் படுக்கையின்மேல் நான் உம்மை நினைக்கும்போது இராச்சாமங்களில் உம்மைத் தியானிக்கிறேன்.
When I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the night watches.

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and abundance of evil, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

அல்லாமலும், நீங்கள் உங்களை வஞ்சியாதபடிக்குத் திருவசனத்தைக் கேட்கிறவர்களாய் மாத்திரமல்ல, அதின்படி செய்கிறவர்களாயும் இருங்கள்.
But be all of you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
ஏசாயா 51:16
நான் வானத்தை நிலைப்படுத்தி, பூமியை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தி, சீயோனை நோக்கி: நீ என் ஜனமென்று சொல்வதற்காக, நான் என் வார்த்தையை உன் வாயிலே அருளி, என் கரத்தின் நிழலினால் உன்னை மறைக்கிறேன்.
And I have put my words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, You are my people.
