சங்கீதம் 30:5
அவருடைய கோபம் ஒரு நிமிஷம், அவருடைய தயவோ நீடியவாழ்வு; சாயங்காலத்தில் அழுகை தங்கும், விடியற்காலத்திலே களிப்புண்டாகும்.
For his anger endures but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
2 இராஜாக்கள் 7:1
அப்பொழுது எலிசா: கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையைக் கேளுங்கள்; நாளை இந்நேரத்தில் சமாரியாவின் வாசலிலே ஒரு மரக்கால் கோதுமை மா ஒரு சேக்கலுக்கும், இரண்டு மரக்கால் வாற்கோதுமை ஒரு சேக்கலுக்கும் விற்கப்படும் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார் என்றான்.
Then Elisha said, Hear all of you the word of the LORD; Thus says the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.

அப்பொழுது ராஜாவுக்குக் கைலாகு கொடுக்கிற பிரதானி ஒருவன் தேவனுடைய மனுஷனுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: இதோ, கர்த்தர் வானத்திலே மதகுகளை உண்டாக்கினாலும் இப்படி நடக்குமா என்றான். அதற்கு அவன்: உன்னுடைய கண்களினாலே அதைக் காண்பாய்; ஆனாலும் அதிலே சாப்பிடமாட்டாய் என்றான்.
Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, you shall see it with yours eyes, but shall not eat thereof.
ஏசாயா 44:25
நான் கட்டுக்கதைக்காரரின் குறிகளை அபத்தமாக்கி, குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களை நிர்மூடராக்கி, ஞானிகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தி, அவர்கள் அறிவைப் பைத்தியமாகப் பண்ணுகிறவர்.
That frustrates the tokens of the liars, and makes diviners mad; that turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish;
ஏசாயா 44:26
நான் என் ஊழியக்காரரின் வார்த்தையை நிலைப்படுத்தி, என் ஸ்தானாபதிகளின் ஆலோசனையை நிறைவேற்றி: குடியேறுவாய் என்று எருசலேமுக்கும், கட்டப்படுவீர்கள் என்று யூதாவின் பட்டணங்களுக்கும் சொல்லி, அவைகளின் பாழான ஸ்தலங்களை எடுப்பிப்பவர்.
That confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; that says to Jerusalem, You shall be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, All of you shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
