ஏசாயா 53:3
அவர் அசட்டைபண்ணப்பட்டவரும், துக்கம் நிறைந்தவரும், பாடு அநுபவித்தவருமாயிருந்தார்; அவரைவிட்டு, நம்முடைய முகங்களை மறைத்துக் கொண்டோம்; அவர் அசட்டைபண்ணப்பட்டிருந்தார்; அவரை எண்ணாமற்போனோம்.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
ஏசாயா 53:4
மெய்யாகவே அவர் நம்முடைய பாடுகளை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, நம்முடைய துக்கங்களைச் சுமந்தார்; நாமோ, அவர் தேவனால் அடிபட்டு வாதிக்கப்பட்டு, சிறுமைப்பட்டவரென்று எண்ணினோம்.
Surely he has borne our sicknesses, and carried our pains: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
ஏசாயா 53:10
கர்த்தரோ அவரை நொறுக்கச் சித்தமாகி, அவரைப் பாடுகளுக்குட்படுத்தினார்; அவருடைய ஆத்துமா தன்னைக் குற்றநிவாரணபலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கும்போது, அவர் தமது சந்ததியைக் கண்டு, நீடித்தநாளாயிருப்பார், கர்த்தருக்குச் சித்தமானது அவர் கையினால் வாய்க்கும்.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
2 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 1:5
நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யத்தினிமித்தம் பாடு அநுபவிக்கிறவர்களாயிருக்க, அந்த ராஜ்யத்திற்கு நீங்கள் பாத்திரரென்றெண்ணப்படும்படிக்கு, தேவன் நியாயமான தீர்ப்புச்செய்கிறவரென்பதற்கு, அதுவே அத்தாட்சியாயிருக்கிறது.
Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that all of you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which all of you also suffer:
2 தீமோத்தேயு 1:12
அதினிமித்தம் நான் இந்தப் பாடுகளையும் அனுபவிக்கிறேன்; ஆயினும், நான் வெட்கப்படுகிறதில்லை; ஏனென்றால், நான் விசுவாசித்திருக்கிறவர் இன்னாரென்று அறிவேன், நான் அவரிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்ததை அவர் அந்நாள் வரைக்கும் காத்துக்கொள்ள வல்லவராயிருக்கிறாரென்று நிச்சயித்துமிருக்கிறேன்.
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
2 தீமோத்தேயு 2:12
நாம் உண்மையில்லாதவர்களாயிருந்தாலும், அவர் உண்மையுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்; அவர் தம்மைத்தாம் மறுதலிக்கமாட்டார்.
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

தங்களிலுள்ள கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆவியானவர் கிறிஸ்துவுக்கு உண்டாகும் பாடுகளையும், அவைகளுக்குப் பின்வரும் மகிமைகளையும் முன்னறிவித்தபோது, இன்னகாலத்தைக் குறித்தாரென்பதையும், அந்தக் காலத்தின் விசேஷம் இன்னதென்பதையும் ஆராய்ந்தார்கள்.
Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
கலாத்தியர் 3:4
இத்தனை பாடுகளையும் வீணாய்ப் பட்டீர்களோ? அவைகள் வீணாய்ப்போயிற்றே.
Have all of you suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
கொலோசேயர் 1:24
இப்பொழுது நான் உங்கள் நிமித்தம் அநுபவிக்கிற பாடுகளில் சந்தோஷமடைந்து, கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய உபத்திரவங்களில் குறைவானதை அவருடைய சரீரமாகிய சபைக்காக, என் மாம்சத்தில் நிறைவேற்றுகிறேன்.
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:
1 பேதுரு 4:13
கிறிஸ்துவின் மகிமைவெளிப்படும்போது நீங்கள் களிகூர்ந்து மகிழும்படியாக அவருடைய பாடுகளுக்கு நீங்கள் பங்காளிகளானதால் சந்தோஷப்படுங்கள்.
But rejoice, inasmuch as all of you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, all of you may be glad also with exceeding joy.
1 பேதுரு 5:1
உங்களிலுள்ள மூப்பருக்கு உடன்மூப்பனும், கிறிஸ்துவின் பாடுகளுக்குச் சாட்சியும், இனி வெளிப்படும் மகிமைக்குப் பங்காளியுமாயிருக்கிற நான் புத்திசொல்லுகிறதென்னவென்றால்:
The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
1 பேதுரு 5:9
விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாயிருந்து, அவனுக்கு எதிர்த்து நில்லுங்கள்; உலகத்திலுள்ள உங்கள் சகோதரரிடத்திலே அப்படிப்பட்ட பாடுகள் நிறைவேறிவருகிறதென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே.
Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
உபாகமம் 28:61
இந்த நியாயப்பிரமாண புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிராத எல்லாப் பிணியையும் வாதையையும் நீ அழியுமளவும் கர்த்தர் உன்மேல் வரப்பண்ணுவார்.
Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon you, until you be destroyed.
உபாகமம் 7:15
கர்த்தர் சகல நோய்களையும் உன்னைவிட்டு விலக்குவார்; உனக்குத் தெரிந்திருக்கிற எகிப்தியரின் கொடிய ரோகங்களில் ஒன்றும் உன்மேல் வரப்பண்ணாமல், உன்னைப் பகைக்கிற யாவர்மேலும் அவைகளை வரப்பண்ணுவார்.
And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you know, upon you; but will lay them upon all them that hate you.
1 தீமோத்தேயு 5:23
நீ இனிமேல் தண்ணீர் மாத்திரம்குடியாமல், உன் வயிற்றிற்காகவும், உனக்கு அடிக்கடி நேரிடுகிற பலவீனங்களுக்காகவும், கொஞ்சம் திராட்சரசமும் கூட்டிக்கொள்.
Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and yours often infirmities.
பிலிப்பியர் 2:26
அவன் உங்கள் எல்லார் மேலும் வாஞ்சையுள்ளவனும், தான் வியாதிப்பட்டதை நீங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டதினாலே, மிகவும் வியாகுலப்படுகிறவனுமாயிருந்தான்.
For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that all of you had heard that he had been sick.

அவன் வியாதிப்பட்டு மரணத்திற்குச் சமீபமாயிருந்தது மெய்தான். ஆகிலும், தேவன் அவனுக்கு இரங்கினார்; அவனுக்கு இரங்கினதுமல்லாமல், துக்கத்தின்மேல் துக்கம் எனக்கு உண்டாகாதபடிக்கு, எனக்கும் இரங்கினார்.
For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
2 கொரிந்தியர் 12:7
அன்றியும், எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்டவைகளுக்குரிய மேன்மையினிமித்தம் நான் என்னை உயர்த்தாதபடிக்கு, என் மாம்சத்திலே ஒரு முள் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; என்னை நான் உயர்த்தாதபடிக்கு, அது என்னைக் குட்டும் சாத்தானுடைய தூதனாயிருக்கிறது
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

இந்த உபத்திரவங்களினாலே ஒருவனும் அசைக்கப்படாதபடிக்கு உங்களைத் திடப்படுத்தவும், உங்கள் விசுவாசத்தைப்பற்றி உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லவும், நம்முடைய சகோதரனும் தேவ ஊழியக்காரனும் கிறிஸ்துவின் சுவிசேஷத்தில் எங்கள் உடன்வேலையாளுமாகிய தீமோத்தேயுவை அனுப்பினோம்.
And sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellow labourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning your faith:
1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 3:3
இப்படிப்பட்ட உபத்திரவங்களைச் சகிக்க நாம் நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோமென்று நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே.
That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
1 தெசலோனிக்கேயர் 3:4
நமக்கு உபத்திரவம் வருமென்று நாங்கள் உங்களிடத்திலிருந்தபோது, உங்களுக்கு முன்னறிவித்தோம்; அப்படியே வந்து நேரிட்டதென்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்.
For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and all of you know.
கொலோசேயர் 1:24
இப்பொழுது நான் உங்கள் நிமித்தம் அநுபவிக்கிற பாடுகளில் சந்தோஷமடைந்து, கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய உபத்திரவங்களில் குறைவானதை அவருடைய சரீரமாகிய சபைக்காக, என் மாம்சத்தில் நிறைவேற்றுகிறேன்.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ.
2 கொரிந்தியர் 6:3
இந்த ஊழியம் குற்றப்படாதபடிக்கு, நாங்கள் யாதொன்றிலும் இடறல் உண்டாக்காமல், எவ்விதத்தினாலேயும், எங்களை தேவஊழியக்காரராக விளங்கப்பண்ணுகிறோம்.
Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

வேலைக்காரரே, அதிக பயத்துடனே உங்கள் எஜமான்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருங்கள்; நல்லவர்களுக்கும் சாந்தகுணமுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் மாத்திரம் அல்ல, முரட்டுக்குணமுள்ளவர்களுக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிந்திருங்கள்.
Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the perverse.
1 பேதுரு 2:19
ஏனெனில், தேவன்மேல் பற்றுதலாயிருக்கிற மனச்சாட்சியினிமித்தம் ஒருவன் அநியாயமாய்ப் பாடுபட்டு உபத்திரவங்களைப் பொறுமையாய்ச் சகித்தால் அதுவே பிரீதியாயிருக்கும்.
For this deserves giving of thanks, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
1 கொரிந்தியர் 7:28
நீ விவாகம்பண்ணினாலும் பாவமல்ல, கன்னிகை விவாகம்பண்ணினாலும் பாவமல்ல. ஆகிலும் அப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் சரீரத்திலே உபத்திரவப்படுவார்கள்; அதற்கு நீங்கள் தப்பவேண்டுமென்றிருக்கிறேன்.
But and if you marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she has not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.
ரோமர் 5:3
அதுமாத்திரமல்ல, உபத்திரவம் பொறுமையையும், பொறுமை பரீட்சையையும், பரீட்சை நம்பிக்கையையும் உண்டாக்குகிறதென்று நாங்கள் அறிந்து,
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience;

உபத்திரவங்களிலேயும் மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறோம்.
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

ஜீவனுள்ள தேவனுடைய கைகளிலே விழுகிறது பயங்கரமாயிருக்குமே.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

முந்தின நாட்களை நினைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; நீங்கள் பிரகாசமாக்கப்பட்டிருந்த அந்த நாட்களில் உபத்திரவங்களாகிய மிகுந்த போராட்டத்தைச் சகித்தீர்களே.
But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after all of you were illuminated, all of you endured a great fight of afflictions;

For all of you had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that all of you have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompence of reward.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
