சங்கீதம் 135:1
அல்லேலுூயா, கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் துதியுங்கள்; கர்த்தரின் ஊழியக்காரரே, துதியுங்கள்.
Praise all of you the LORD. Praise all of you the name of the LORD; praise him, O all of you servants of the LORD.
சங்கீதம் 135:2
கர்த்தருடைய வீட்டிலும், நமது தேவனுடைய ஆலயப்பிராகாரங்களிலும் நிற்கிறவர்களே, கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்.
All of you that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
சங்கீதம் 135:3
கர்த்தர் நல்லவர்; அவருடைய நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள்; அது இன்பமானது.
Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
சங்கீதம் 148:5
அவைகள் கர்த்தரின் நாமத்தைத் துதிக்கக்கடவது; அவர் கட்டளையிட அவைகள் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்பட்டது.
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
சங்கீதம் 147:1
கர்த்தரைத் துதியுங்கள்; நம்முடைய தேவனைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுகிறது நல்லது, துதித்தலே இன்பமும் ஏற்றதுமாயிருக்கிறது.
Praise all of you the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

அவர்கள் பாடித் துதிசெய்யத் தொடங்கினபோது, யூதாவுக்கு விரோதமாய் வந்து பதிவிருந்த அம்மோன் புத்திரரையும், மோவாபியரையும், சேயீர் மலைத்தேசத்தாரையும், ஒருவருக்கு விரோதமாய் ஒருவரைக் கர்த்தர் எழும்பப்பண்ணினதினால் அவர்கள் வெட்டுண்டு விழுந்தார்கள்.
And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
2 நாளாகமம் 5:13
அவர்கள் ஒருமிக்கப் பூரிகைகளை ஊதி, ஏகசத்தமாய்க் கர்த்தரைத் துதித்து ஸ்தோத்திரித்துப் பாடினார்கள்; ஆசாரியர் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து புறப்படுகையிலும், பாடகர் பூரிகைள் தாளங்கள் கீதவாத்தியங்களுடைய சத்தத்தைத் தொனிக்கப்பண்ணி கர்த்தர் நல்லவர் அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளதென்று அவரை ஸ்தோத்திரிக்கையிலும், கர்த்தருடைய வீடாகிய தேவாலயம் மேகத்தினால் நிறையப்பட்டது.
It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endures for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
எபிரெயர் 13:15
ஆகையால், அவருடைய நாமத்தைத் துதிக்கும் உதடுகளின் கனியாகிய ஸ்தோத்திரபலியை அவர்மூலமாய் எப்போதும் தேவனுக்குச் செலுத்தக்கடவோம்.
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
