ரூத் 4:1
போவாஸ் பட்டணவாசலில் போய், உட்கார்ந்துகொண்டிருந்தான்; அப்பொழுது போவாஸ் சொல்லியிருந்த அந்தச் சுதந்தரவாளி அந்த வழியே வந்தான்; அவனை நோக்கி: ஓய், என்று பேர் சொல்லிக் கூப்பிட்டு, இங்கே வந்து சற்று உட்காரும் என்றான்; அவன் வந்து உட்கார்ந்தான்.
Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spoke came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.
ரூத் 4:5
அப்பொழுது போவாஸ்: நீர் நகோமியின் கையிலே அந்த வயல் நிலத்தை வாங்குகிற நாளிலே மரித்தவனுடைய சுதந்தரத்தில் அவன் பேரை நிலைநிற்கப்பண்ணும்படிக்கு, அதை மரித்தவன் மனைவியாகிய மோவாபிய ஸ்திரீயான ரூத் கையிலும் வாங்கவேண்டியது என்றான்.
Then said Boaz, What day you buy the field of the hand of Naomi, you must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.
1 யோவான் 4:4
பிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் தேவனாலுண்டாயிருந்து, அவர்களை ஜெயித்தீர்கள்; ஏனெனில் உலகத்திலிருக்கிறவனிலும் உங்களிலிருக்கிறவர் பெரியவர்.
All of you are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 யோவான் 4:10
நாம் தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்ததினால் அல்ல, அவர் நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நிவிர்த்திசெய்கிற கிருபாதாரபலியாகத் தம்முடைய குமாரனை அனுப்பினதினாலே அன்பு உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 யோவான் 4:20
தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூருகிறேனென்று ஒருவன் சொல்லியும், தன் சகோதரனைப் பகைத்தால், அவன் பொய்யன்; தான் கண்ட சகோதரனிடத்தில் அன்புகூராமலிருக்கிறவன், தான் காணாத தேவனிடத்தில் எப்படி அன்புகூருவான்?
If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
