துன்மார்க்கனுடைய வீட்டில் கர்த்தரின் சாபம் இருக்கிறது, நீதிமான்களுடைய வாசஸ்தலத்தையோ அவர் ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார்.
The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesses the habitation of the just.

அநியாயத்தின் திரவியங்கள் ஒன்றுக்கும் உதவாது; நீதியோ மரணத்துக்குத் தப்புவிக்கும்.
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivers from death.

Blessings are upon the head of the just: but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

தேவன் நீதியுள்ள நியாயாதிபதி; அவர் நாள்தோறும் பாவியின்மேல் சினங்கொள்ளுகிற தேவன்.
God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் உன் கோத்திரங்கள் தோறும் உனக்குக் கொடுக்கும் வாசல்களிலெல்லாம், நியாயாதிபதிகளையும் தலைவரையும் ஏற்படுத்துவாயாக; அவர்கள் நீதியுடன் ஜனங்களுக்கு நியாயத்தீர்ப்புச் செய்யக்கடவர்கள்.
Judges and officers shall you make you in all your gates, which the LORD your God gives you, throughout your tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

துன்மார்க்கனுடைய வழி கர்த்தருக்கு அருவருப்பானது; நீதியைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவனையோ அவர் நேசிக்கிறார்.
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loves him that follows after righteousness.

பலியிடுவதைப்பார்க்கிலும், நீதியும் நியாயமும் செய்வதே கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரியம்.
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
